For larger or unusual problems, we work with a structural engineer, share findings, follow the engineered plan and keep you informed.
Some foundation problems are straightforward, and some are not. Large movement, multiple affected areas, a cracked frame, an unusual structure or a project that adds load all call for an engineer. A structural engineer studies the building, calculates what is happening and writes a plan that tells contractors exactly what to do. Engineers decide structural questions, and we do not replace them.
We make working with one easy. We share our measurements, photos and notes so the engineer arrives informed, we accompany visits when you wish and we carry out the plan as drawn. Engineers can also be a useful second opinion for owners who have received very different recommendations from other companies. When the engineer finishes, we help with permits and inspections and keep copies of the paperwork for your records. Bringing in an engineer is not an admission of a bigger problem. It is a way to be sure, and many owners find the peace of mind alone is worth the extra step.
Large movement, cracked framing, unusual structures, retaining walls and major additions are all good reasons to bring one in.
We provide measurements, photos and findings so the engineer can spend time on analysis and design.
We build to the engineered drawings and notes, and we raise questions before we make any change.
If quotes disagree, an engineer can settle the question with an independent view.

You tell us what you have noticed, a crack, a damp smell, a sloping floor or standing water, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We look closely inside and out, measure floors and cracks, check moisture and drainage and take photos of anything of note.
We explain what is urgent, what can wait and what is optional, and give you a written scope and options.
We lay floor protection, mark utilities, protect landscaping and set up before any digging or drilling begins.
We install, seal, lift or repair with the right tools and materials, checking our work as we go.
We clean up, restore the surface, show you what we did, share care tips and set a reminder for your next check.
