A patio that tilts toward the house or a porch that has dropped can be lifted back to level, sealed and drained.
A patio or porch slab that tilts toward the house is a quiet problem: water collects along the wall, seeps into the foundation and in time rots wood and stains siding. A porch that has dropped away from the house leaves a gap that invites water and pests. And a slab that rocks underfoot makes furniture wobble and a gathering uncomfortable.
We measure the slope, find the voids with sounding and lift the slab with foam or grout until it falls gently away from the house. We seal the joint where the patio meets the wall and fill cracks to keep water out. Where a porch has a failed footing, we pair the lift with helical piers, so the structure is supported and not just raised. The patio or porch is usable again quickly, and the ground beneath it is stable. A level patio is also a safer one, so we check the edges and steps as well, and mention anything that could catch a foot.
A slight fall away from the house sheds water. We lift to bring the patio to the right slope.
Gaps at the house are sealed so water cannot enter and pests cannot move in.
If the footing has failed, helical piers carry it to stable soil so the porch stays level.
Small cracks are sealed and joints are caulked to protect the work.

The soil beneath settled or washed out. Lifting restores a slope away from the house.
Often yes, and failed footings are supported with piers.
It is sealed after the lift so water cannot get in.
If water is directed away and the soil is stable, it should.
