Insulating the walls or the floor above makes floors warmer and the whole house more comfortable and less costly to heat and cool.
Cold floors in winter and a house that works hard in summer often trace back to the crawl space. Old batt insulation between the joists soaks up moisture, sags and falls, leaving the floor unprotected. In a sealed crawl space, insulating the walls with rigid foam keeps the space in step with the house and protects the insulation from damp.
We look at what is there, check the moisture and fix any water problem first, because insulation only works when it stays dry. Then we remove damaged batts, clean the space and install the system that suits it: rigid foam on the walls with taped seams for a sealed crawl space, or properly supported insulation under the floor for a vented one. The finished space is cleaner, warmer and easier to inspect. A short visit with a flashlight is often enough to tell whether the old batts are doing anything at all, and many owners are surprised how much warmer a floor feels once the right material is in place.
Rigid foam board on the walls, with taped seams, insulates the space and pairs with a liner for a complete envelope.
Where the space stays vented, insulation under the floor is held up with proper supports and a moisture-safe material.
Insulation does not work well when it is wet. We fix moisture before we insulate.
Sagging, damp batts are removed and the space cleaned, so new material can do its job.

You tell us what you have noticed, a crack, a damp smell, a sloping floor or standing water, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We look closely inside and out, measure floors and cracks, check moisture and drainage and take photos of anything of note.
We explain what is urgent, what can wait and what is optional, and give you a written scope and options.
We lay floor protection, mark utilities, protect landscaping and set up before any digging or drilling begins.
We install, seal, lift or repair with the right tools and materials, checking our work as we go.
We clean up, restore the surface, show you what we did, share care tips and set a reminder for your next check.
